Magenta Blog Hop

Supplies used:

Imagine Crafts Tsukineko Inks: Memento Luxe - Dandelion, Morocco, Espresso Truffle, Rhubarb Stalk and Elderberry. Versafine Onyx Black and Delicata Silver Shimmer. Jumbo Dauber.

Magenta: Rubber stamps - Echinacea, Delicate Branch, Echinacea solid. Stencils - Dutch Houses.

Black and white card
Glue

I began by stamping my flowers with Versafine Onyx Black and coloring them in with the inks listed above using a waterbrush. I then cut them out.
Next I drew around the Dutch House Stencil and cut it out.
Using the Memento Luxe Inks - Dandelion and Morocco, I used an Imagine Crafts Jumbo Dauber to blend the ink. I then stamped with the Magenta, Delicate Branch Stamp.

I then replaced the stencil and using the jumbo dauber and Delicata Silver Shimmer, I added the windows and door.

Before assembling my card I used the jumbo dauber to create a moon in the sky!

Creative Chaos!

Thank you for stopping by to inspect my mess lol
Here it is in all of its glory! I recently moved in and have no dedicated workspace/room so most of my creative stuff is in the garage. I'm using a Walmart collapsible table and am surrounded by boxes and furniture ready for the rest of the house!

To be honest, I don't notice the mess when I am creating and I get a great sense of comfort from being surrounded by what I need close at hand. Eventually the chaos will have a home of its own, but my table will always be a mess and that is how I like it!

A big THANKS to Seth Apter of The Altered Page for organizing this event, and for getting people to bare their studio tables!

Let The Sun Shine!

I’m so happy and proud to be doing my first RubberMoon blog post today and thank you to all at RubberMoon for the wonderful opportunity to share my creativity using your beautiful and thought provoking stamps!

Supplies used:
RubberMoon Stamps: ge2475 - Large lady sun face and ge2216 - "Let the sun shine"
Gelli Arts: Gelli Plate
Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko: Memento Luxe inkers in Bahama Blue, Dandelion, Morocco, Olive Geen, Love Letter, and Pear Tart. VersaFine Black Onyx and Creative Medium
Sizzix: Cabinet Die
White Card

1, Stamp your images onto white card and cut out.

2, Blend your inkers with creative medium to achieve a paint like consistency and brayer onto your Gelli Plate. Pull your print and let dry. Doodle using a fine black pen and then cut into strips. Glue your strips onto the card to create a collage, let dry and then die-cut.

3, Stamp “Let the Sun shine and glue to your die-cut and finish by gluing the Lady Sun to the top of your cabinet card.
